This is totally insane.
Of course, I hate to say it, but most of our bishops and clergy, regardless of whether you’re Protestant or Catholic, abandoned us already and probably won’t object to any hoops the state wants to make us jump through.
That is truer for the Catholic denomination than either Protestant or Evangelical leaders/leadership.
