Impossible. There are rumors he is a Christian.

What the laity has accepted for decades is sickening.

Try telling that to the majority of American Catholic bishops.

My wonderful priests have turned ad orientum for the live stream masses. I hope they will continue this when we are back in the real world.

Love,

Not allowing priests to administer Extreme Unction to dying people is right out of the communist playbook.

Mandating churches to turn over lists of parishioners (of all religions) along with names and phone numbers is another.

Great, timely post....as the Southern woman once said, . "if the Eucharist is JUST a symbol then to hell with it"

How can he not be the next Pope.... The world hungers for divinity..... Not secularism....
Is is not possibly providential that this hunger we desire for a Pope Sarah came about in the way it has ?
mysterious ways for sure....

No compromise, “the Eucharist is a gift we receive from God and we must receive it in a dignified way. We are not at the supermarket.”

I truly hate the word “compromise” as used today. A true compromise is when BOTH parties give up something to reach an agreement.

The liberal definition of compromise is synonymous with capitulate. They scream that we have to learn to compromise, but they never give anything up. They just take and take, and take some more.

This is why anytime anyone tells me I need to learn to compromise, I tell them, “Okay, let’s compromise. What are you willing to give up?”

When they start to him-n-haw I tell them to their face, “You don’t want to compromise, you just want to get your way. Quite childish, talk to me when you grow up.”

St Michael is needed these days.

Cardinal Sarah is not Pope, but as Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments he outranks everyone else who isn’t Pope, with the possible exception, after a recent reorganization, of Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State.

Now that Cardinal Sarah has weighed in and underscored the absolute right on the part of a well-disposed member of the faithful to receive the Most Blessed Sacrament on the tongue, watch for local ordinaries (bishops and archbishops in charge of actual dioceses) worldwide to react (once the Sunday Mass precept is reinstituted) by instructing priests and pastors to refrain from distributing the Host to anyone after priestly consecration and consumption. In other words, the priest who says Mass will be the only one permitted to consume the Host.
