It might be better to send your missive to the state Governors who actually have the authority to do what you are asking.
Just pointing that out because I am old enough to have been taught civics.
We need the old Trump TODAY to step up and kick arse or he is finished .
Yes, it’s the states rebelling against Trump and then demanding federal money...eh you know this.
I think so too. There may not be much in reality that he can do about the governors, but he should at least provide some encouragement and leadership for reopening the country. And got rid of President Fauci.

Liz Wheeler, the other night, opened her show “Tipping Point” on One America News Network (OAN or OANN) DirectTV chanel 347, 9 pm weekdays) with her opening monologue being “Dear Mr President”
I wish I could find a video of this, but there does not appear to be any videos of her show other than her final segment of every show being “Final Thoughts”.
IT WAS EXCELLENT!!! Liz is a YUGE supporter of President Trump, but time is running out on that.
While many of the following things I say were covered on her show, the following words are MINE not hers (some would be the same, but I am NOT quoting HER!)
The lockdown was a total FIASCO! A YUGE mistake.
While politically impossible to avoid especially with the advice and models and yet no REAL data, available at the time, that is not the case anymore.
The data is in. Many studies have been done in many different countries by renowned scientists that PROVE lockdowns don’t work and the ONLY solution to the COVID-19 pandemic is “herd immunity” (which includes vaccines as one way to achieve it, although that is dubious because MANY people will not take it (ME) and it will likely be only 40% effective).
Liz quotes study after study showing how unlikely it is that you would get seriously ill or ill AT ALL in an “unlocked” society. NO ONE gets the coronavirus OUTSIDE!
Almost everyone gets it INDOORS from a family member. A YUGE percentage (90%-98%) of ALL deaths are elderly infirm, elderly with serious underlying medical conditions.
Children are virtually immune, WHY ARE THEY NOT IN SCHOOL?
Around 50% of ALL deaths (worldwide) are in nursing homes and long term care facilities. Some nursing homes have been stacking up dead bodies like cord wood in refrigerated and NON-refrigerated trucks, garages, and basements!
The “lockdown” was NEVER intended to PREVENT getting this disease! NEVER! It was ONLY to “SLOW the spread” to allow hospitals to ramp up and not get overwhelmed.
HELLO? That time has PASSED!!!!
ZERO legitimate reason to now, still be locked down!
Not only are we destroying the economy, we are DESTROYING our national HEALTH! By banning “elective” surgeries, standard health services, cancer screenings, examinations where life threatening illnesses are discovered.
By essentially closing down these hospitals/clinics we are putting them OUT OF BUSINESS! So that after the shutdown, you will have nowhere to go to get these LIFE SAVING treatments!
Not to mention “INFLATION”! Due to being “locked down” and losing a fortune! Are reopening businesses and manufacturers and producers likely to RAISE prices? Hmmmmm?
You BETCHA! Get ready to pay more for EVERYTHING!
Nothing better to water down serious issues and crisis than to affix the clichéd and tiresome “-GATE” onto it.
First of all, the lockdown in the states is unenforceable. Trump knows this but is loathe to try to force the Governor’s hands recognizing it sets up a “dictator” like discussion. IMHO Trump has a difficult hand to play, but is playing it deftly...keep touting the improving situation, point out areas/states that are doing the right thing and put public pressure on the Govs of the states that are not. Bottom line, the Govs own this for their states...not POTUS. And for all those who want POTUS to force the states to reopen, imagine, for a minute, the media reaction if when those states do, there is an inevitable uptick in positive tests and/or fatalities...it’s going to happen no matter what, but imagine if POTUS forces them to open...he’s playing it right...like so many other things we have said he should do different than what he had, and successfully navigated the outcome. POTUS has access to a lot more info than we do....
As with most things, if we wait for the government to solve our problems, we’re doomed.
The people can, and should, re-open the country on our own. I live in California and there are a LOT more people out and about. Most are wearing masks and washing their hands a lot, and no disaster has befallen us.
Small business are going to have to do the same. Just reopen themselves, with precautions in place (such as no large meetings and diligent cleaning of surfaces throughout the day) in order to minimize the risk.
The local authorities can’t go through and arrest every business owner in a city. They will have no choice but to acquiesce to the will of the people, as distasteful as it will be to them.
Not if your deaf.

And fire Fauci... if he had worked at Mr Trump’s business he would have been long fired for giving false information
