It was impossible for us not to think of the empty squares, churches, chapels today with the words of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on this Good Shepherd Sunday.
At that time Jesus said to the Pharisees: I am the good Shepherd. The good Shepherd giveth his life for his sheep. But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming and leaveth the sheep and flieth: and the wolf catcheth and scattereth the sheep. [From the Gospel for the Second Sunday After Easter.]

This really is the worst thing in all of this faux crisis - the clergy and hierarchy showed exactly how little they believe of what is theoretically their religion (and their job). Also, it’s not just the Catholic Church, but almost all of the Christian churches. Although, alas, I believe the Catholic Church was the most obvious and least resistant in abandoning the faithful and handing the church over to the government (of whatever country). But that’s what Bergoglio is all about.
They need to learn the meaning of the following words. Obviously these are not yet part of their vocabularies:
Martyr
Courage
Sacrifice
Vocation
Shepherd
Hell, it wasn’t even a wolf PUP...It was a virus that can’t be seen with the naked eye and gets wiped out by a little bit of sunshine
We better hope there’s not a mass call for faith-filled witnesses any time soon
