The consensus from people in the know around here was that it was an accidental fire.
My first thought was muzzies but I don’t know nearly enough about the chemicals and reactions involved that started this horrific blaze.

I would like to know more about “ the people in the know” who think the fire was accidental.
From what I understand, aged oak beams from very large trees are known for their fire resistance.
