I fear that most police will follow any order given by their superiors . Yes there are dangers in police work although convenience store clerks get shot and don’t get 60 cars with flashing lights and memorial statues.
Police get good pay, benefits, pensions and the chance to feel superior to “civilians”.
It’s hard to walk away from all that.
Plus “iits the police job to enforce the law not make it”.
I miss peace officers.

They might change it to "We are treading on you losers."
