Thanks for sharing. I’m sure many of the author’s observations are true. But not mentioned is Jesus’ primary reason for agony - that is the separation from his Father and the torment of judgement and hell that defines that separation.

Certainly, Jesus goes to the cross driven by love for people. But he does so also out of obedience to his Father, knowing that it will be the Father’s wrath that will torment the most. That is what drives his agony in the garden.
