NEW YORK CITY, April 6, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) Evangelical leader Rev. Franklin Graham says the coronavirus pandemic is the result of sin that man has turned his back on God and urged people to pray and ask Gods forgiveness as Christians begin Holy Week.
As we come to this week, Easter week I would encourage people around the world and across the country to pray, Graham told Fox host Judge Jeanine Pirro Saturday. I pray that God would protect us, and Gods hand would relieve us from this pandemic.
Grahams humanitarian organization Samaritans Purse, which brings medical professionals and supplies to war zones and disaster hotspots around the world, has set up a 68-bed field hospital in Central Park staffed with 60 to 70 medical personnel to treat coronavirus patients an intervention welcomed by municipal hospitals expecting a strain on resources as New York City becomes the latest epicenter of the virus in America.
We never thought wed be in New York City, Graham told Pirro, adding that his Christian staff pray for their patients.
This is a very serious situation, and we need Gods help. Of course, in Central Park, our doctors and nurses are Christian men and women. We pray for our patients. We have chaplains there to pray for our patients. We care for everybody that comes in, and we want them to know God loves them, and He hasnt forgotten them. Were there to care for them in Jesus name.
But given that so many Americans have perished from the virus, Pirro said, you must get questions about why God would allow this kind of thing to happen.
Graham replied that the pandemic is the result of humanitys sins and again urged people to pray and ask God for help.

If my people...
AAAAAAAAmen!!!!!
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
I partly agree with Franklin Graham. Man has turned his back on God. But I’d be willing to bet this is a ChiCom biological weapon.
Hyperbole from Lifesite News doesnt help.
I’d suggest this is weaponized medicine via government(s) not of God...yet.
I believe the ChiComs have been picking the pieces and the action, since the demise of their friend/competitor the Soviet Union.
This pandemic was supposed to hatch at another time, I believe, but, once out, as it seemed as I watched the virus map, one here, 2000 miles and one day later, another, etc.
Not ALL of us have turned their back on God. I attend Mass six days a week. I KNOW to whom I MUST express gratitude.
We are so FRIGGIN' lucky to live in this fabulous country. Don't like it? LEAVE. You'll be MUCH happier south of our border, Africa or Asia. Go ahead, LEAVE.
Not YOU EC...I'm just venting.
bkmk
Bump
Your post....what can I say
There is indeed a gulf between me and Graham
And you
Worship as you wish by all means
Not sure what to say really
No southern baptist should ever use his church attendance as a barometer of his belief in Christ
Important distinction by Franklin Graham. We have turned our back on God. He hasn’t turned His back on us.
I don’t agree. Satan is the Prince of the power of the air and he is in charge of this sin-filled present evil world, until Christ returns, bounds Satan, and sets up His prophesied Millenial Kingdom. Where there will be no more sickness or death. Until then, Satan roams freely here, like a lion, seeking whom he will destroy. God promises us all SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS in HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ. And we are to set our sights on things ABOVE,which are eternal, NOT on things on this earth.
Otherwise, he is a weak, powerless, spineless, sorry sack of crap who has sentenced himself to an eternity of eating crap sandwiches and washing them down with crapshakes.
Amen!
As much as I would like to agree with you, Paul tells me different in his Epistles. In Ephesians, as one example, he tells us to put on the whole armor of God, that we may withstand the evil one. Romans also gives a great discussion of us being led to the slaughter all day long, like sheep, by the wiles of the devil. And tells us that NOTHING can keep us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. Satan is roaming freely. He is not constrained, nor will he be until the Second Coming of Christ
The rain falls on the just and unjust.
