Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.

Because being locked down for two weeks is akin to being in a death camp.
Our country is so full of itself these days.
Good quote, thanks for that comforting reminder.
You have to laugh. You really do.

From Solzhenitsyn in the Gulag Archipelago;
At what exact point, then, should one resist? When one’s belt is taken away? When one is ordered to face into a corner? When one crosses the threshold of one’s home? An arrest consists of a series of incidental irrelevancies, of a multitude of things that do not matter, and there seems no point in arguing about anyone of them individually-especially at a time when the thoughts of the person arrested are wrapped tightly about the big question: “What for?”-and yet all these incidental irrelevancies taken together implacably constitute the arrest.
When you have to eat frozen fish instead of fresh fish....well it feels so righteous to make the comparison

Yes, such a bunch of whiners.
So, when you are pulling out the guns and starting to shoot the place up? I love my life. I love my wife. I love taking care of her.
I don’t need to run around and go to bars and diners. I dont need to run off to church. I haven’t done that since last summer before my wife got sick.
I don’t feel as though ANYONE is telling me I cannot do anything I did before, except eat at Family Pizza and go to the movies. And I still get Family Pizza food (they are delicious.)
When someone removes my ability to roam freely on the streets of my town, I will get angry.
So tell me, when are you ready to take up arms...and against whom?
I just had a can of turnip greens that was best used by 2017.
Pretty good.
Served it with Shrimp Alfredo.
You will note, I did not address the response to you specifically. I did not want you to think I was giving you a hard time.
But...its been two weeks for most people. How that can be considered a hardship is really beyond me. And really, for the first several days...no one paid attention to it during their quest to find toilet paper.
I’ve seen and spoken to my neighbors more in the past week than I have in the past 26 years.
Not sure how that is a hardship.
Because this has never happened before:

I favor - fight as though your life and your family members lives depend on it before getting into that boxcar.
Thanks, Lt...no worries...as a person of faith, I need a reminder of Who is really Sovereign...and, PTL, we are still far from being in the Camps

This does make it sorrowful head shaking status, doesn’t it? As I have posted before, if we had leadership and citizens in the 1800s like those we have now now, we’d all still be living east of the Mississippi River.
