My wife was diagnosed stage-4 lung cancer almost 2 years ago, and she is doing well with chemo treatment along with immuno-therapy treatment. Her tumors are shrinking and no new growths. We are booked on a cruise near end of this month! The cancer medicines they now have are making cancer more of a chronic disease than a fatal disease.
“But really, I’m ready to go.”
Well, OK, well done, faithful servant.
(But, as Joseph Prince once said, God doesn’t need you in heaven; he’s got all the saints and angels already. He needs you to still serve on earth, which is short of the same. [elaborating] So — don’t desert the battlefront and go home on leave. Stay and fight!)
I wish you both a wonderful trip together. Glad your wife is doing well, too!!
That is awesome! I am sure treatments vary tremendously. I hear ads for highly specialized centers, and I wonder whether most insurance will accommodate their rates.
