Having observed Great Lent fasting with or faith-kinfolks the Russian Orthodox for 10 years, I must go on record saying we Catholics are wimps.

And I the wimpiest of the wimps.

But I'm going to try to gear up this year. Thanks for the subtle kick in the pants called Septuagesima.
