I’ve come to the conclusion that there are two ways
it can go, either there is nothing, in which case
there is nothing to worry about. Or there is something
and we’ll find out when we get there so no worries either.
Personally, I very much view this world as a form of the Matrix, but from a Christian perspective.
Had a friend once whose philosophy was, ‘God may or may not exist, but I’d rather play it safe. If I live right and die and find out he doesn’t exist, no loss. If I don’t live right and die, and find out he does, I’m screwed.’
Thats my exact view. I live my life as close to the rules as possible for me. If there is no afterlife then Ill never know. If there is then my black marks in the book will be pretty small and God will know I tried to make up for them while I was still here.
Suppose there are 2, or even more, “somethings”, and you go the wrong way.
