I remember my civics instructor in 12th grade beginning the economics quarter with the words “ Every dollar you earn or spend is an economic vote for the success of that endeavor.” . So you lend moral support by earning from or spending on a cause. So as Jennifer Garner might say “what’s in your morals?”

Was it wrong for Joseph to work for the pharo.

The question is, where do you draw the line? Many companies have caved in and support all these LGBT agenda items, such as Target pushing the transgender restroom access issue.

Most companies are not run from a Christian or faith viewpoint in the first place. Depending how strict people want to be, some may have a hard time finding companies to work for, invest in, or be customers of, if there is an expectation that biblical principles will be followed.

Is it wrong to call yourself a church and never talk about abortion or political issues?

That Pharoah was not not racist against the children of Abraham unlike the ensuing one later.

Should a Christian participate in funding abortions and sex changes? No, but they do. All of them. Every day.

RE: Is it wrong to call yourself a church and never talk about abortion or political issues?

Abortion is a moral issue so, Pastors have a duty to instruct the faithful.

Likewise homosexuality. Likewise sex outside marriage.

The Bible also teaches us a lot about the nation of Israel and its future.

After teaching what the Bible says about these issues, the church members SHOULD already get a clue as to which political party to support without the Pastor directly telling them how or who to vote for.

Christians don’t “Participate”. Their money is being TAXED and part of these being used to FUND these abominations.

Look, CESAR ( and his proxy PILATE ) committed a lot of atrocities, we certainly don’t call Jesus’ followers who paid their taxes “participants” in these atrocities.

"Was it wrong for Joseph to work for the pharo."

Or Daniel working for the Kings of Babylon.

Should Ester refuse to marry the king? There are many people in the Bible that severed God in a place that did not recognize the true God. While strip clubs are easy to call I know teachers who serve God in public schools. Should a christian quit their job at a big bank. Will the correct answer will change with different people?

But should a Christian invest in Netflix? Certainly not, because as an investor you are profiting from all of the activities that company is involved with....

He's drawing too fine a line here. What if your 401(K) is invested in many mutual funds? And Netflix is one of them? What about subscribing to Netflix? Is that a sin too?

Headline somewhat misleading (I know who the audience is) - should read: “Is it wrong for Christians to work for companies with anti-Christian views?”

But He also said the whole "Render unto Caesar..." instruction. Christians are to eschew anything that goes against God, right? Was Caesar using tax $$$ to fund abortions? Sex changes? Today, our government is using tax $$$ to do exactly that. Participation by proxy may be a better term. Regardless, at the end of the day, Christians should be removing themselves from the system so as not to be required to pay for these things. They should be relying on God to provide. Instead, they are all about the almighty...paycheck. How else will we ever survive without making that $$$? Same for CWII or some kinda revolution down in VA. Never gonna happen, because we love $$$ and the stuff we can do with it. So what if it goes to procedures and projects that fly directly in the face of God, right?
