New scene from a Mel Brooks western movie: bad guy buries the incriminating evidence, then takes a branch and rakes the earth with it to cover his tracks. Meanwhile, perched atop a cliff not far away, the sheriff is watching him do it, laughing his ass off.
hmmm. so the guy decided to nuke the magazine on his way out? doesn’t seem to me like a very Christian thing to do ... i wonder how much money this kommie got paid to destroy his employer and the jobs of all the good people who depended upon employment by the magazine?
Do I need to sign up for the magazine before I can cancel my subscription?
Which came first, the purported hyperbole, or the retirement?
I’m betting the hyperbole came first.
That’s why his attempted mea culpa sounds so canned, he’s doing so under pressure.
He made an attempt to being relevant on his way out. Crap paper must have caught a lot of crap and loss of subscriptions.
Add an 's' to 'hit' and you've got it.
This brand will not be re-built. Christianity Today was once a valuable resource for Christians, now it’s just more Globalist bulls*t propaganda.
I only wish I had a subscription that I could angrily cancel.
Another retiring in a few days. A parting shot by another Flake. He should have just kept his mouth shut.
hyperbolic irresponsibility
The magazine must be getting calls from subscribers. Cancellations hurt the bottom line, money talks.
Is this guy being coached by Adam Schiff or what? “It was hyperbole”...really? How about a metaphor? Humor maybe? Give it up! Call it what it really is..political propaganda.
He must have learned “parody” from schiff-head.
wow - good highlight. What an asshole move, Its like lighting your office on fire on the way out the door - Nice working with enjoy all that fire!
The publisher had a great opportunity to throw this guy under the bus and save the magazine, but noooo.
The publisher agreed with the writer’s article and thus tanks the magazine. Good riddance.
Guys a straight up weasle.
The Stingray was the last Schwinn you could back peddle that hard. Nice try though.
Back pedaling at the speed of light.
Hyperbole or not, he obviously does not understand what’s going on.
