The Pope fails to realize the Church leadership is losing more authority because of their progressive movement away from core Catholic beliefs. People are stepping back and asking if the Church continues to be more “inclusive”, at what point do we cease to be Catholic and have become Unitarian?

That point has been passed. This pope is becoming more irrelevant every day.

you know, the church deserves to be torn apart, keeper of the truth my butt, the birds of the field don’t sow or reap for food, why does man of little faith, I see no one shining in the glory of God, of Course God and Christ is true, we know this, but man claiming that their priest alone can transform the wafer into Christ body, never knew that all is part of Christ, no man, rome or pope needed..they extend authority which they are not given, and the result is many centuries of
pure hypocrisy, more suckin up to pagan priest who formed the church than seeking God, Bible is no longer used, the popes have determined it’s meaning,, in my world, God is in a relationship with us individually if we accept Christ salvation, he gives us individually the path to seek..

Good point, but I don’t think Pope Francis fails to realize this. I think that, for him, the Church’s loss of numbers and influence is a feature, not a glitch.
