This Christmas has been extraordinarily difficult for people that have lost...
valuable items, money, friends, homes, cars, loved ones, beloved pets...
If you have lost something recently please let us know. You don't have to say what it is if you don't want to but we will all be praying for your recovery and healing from your loss no matter how big or small.
The most important thing is that we do not lose hope especially as we contemplate the joy of Christmas and our Lord's promise of Salvation.
Thank you.
I will pray for your intentions, and those of everyone on this thread, whether they pour their hearts out, or go on courageously in silence.
Prayers for you and your dear husband Bill
My Great Aunt and her husband went down on the Titanic
and both of our grandmothers had lost two very young children(Ann and Pat ironically)
so we promised each other to live in memory of all those that were
separated and could not be together.
We are 35 years now and have cherished each day.
Hopefully our FReeper family is some small comfort to your sadness.

Even though your husband may not mentally recognize you, the Holy Spirit is within him but He is also within you. So, while you may not be able to communicate at the human level, you are definitely communicating on the spiritual level and that’s more real than anything we can see, hear, touch, taste or feel.
Thank you.
Yes, indeed. This thread is a comfort.
I just prayed Psalm 37, which I found on a Freeper’s page.
It was just what I needed tonight.
The Spirit is working already through the words on this thread.
Sorry for all the misspellings on post #20. I gotta start using the preview function.
That is a beautiful thought.
Actually it wasn’t my idea... completely
I received a PM request for a dear freeper that is having
a difficult time and it struck me that so many are struggling
as we approach the celebration of the most splendid event in all of history.
Since it can be the hardest time of the year for some of us I thought we could all use
some prayers to help each other through our suffering.

Thanks infool7. Prayers for me would be appreciated.
2019 sucked a bit for me. In order, best dog ever passed away, lost job, found out I have cancer. I have a lot to be grateful and thankful for though and will join you in prayer for others who are suffering.
Merry Christmas.
I recently lost a new friend. We played on a bocce ball team this past summer and had a lot of fun. We went to her funeral service this morning and it was very emotional, especially hearing her daughter talk about her mom. They were very close and best friends.
It is impossible to know the true depth of your sorrows.
Dear St Joseph Patron of departing souls pray for us.
Our consolation is from Thessalonians 4: 12-17
And we will not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that are asleep, that you be not sorrowful, even as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died, and rose again; even so them who have slept through Jesus, will God bring with him. For this we say unto you in the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them who have slept. For the Lord himself shall come down from heaven with commandment, and with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead who are in Christ, shall rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air, and so shall we be always with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort ye one another with these words.
Eternal rest grant unto Gary O Lord
and may perpetual light shine upon him
may his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed
through the Mercy of God
Rest in Peace

“This is one of the best threads I ever have read on FR. Thank you posting it.”
I second that! Very nice idea to post this today.
I am waiting for a liver transplant. There were several shootings last night, and all I thought was livers, not people. I really have felt guilty all day. May God forgive me for those thoughts.
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. The anguish you both feel has to be so hard to endure. I pray for both you.
You sound like my friend Doc O’Connell
renal cell carcinoma :/
he had an enormous storming heaven email prayer list.
As hard as it was for him, he was praying for everyone else.
God Bless you in your struggles.

Well you just thought of them now so I wouldn’t be too hard on myself.
We’ll add intentions for all those that have been violently or unexpectedly killed and
all those suffering from the unexpected and tragic loss of a loved one this week.
I am sure He understands.
Prayers also for a speedie and successful transplant.

Prayers for your friend Suzie and Mike and his family
A sudden loss can be especially difficult because of things left unsaid.
It should remind us to tell (and show) our loved ones how much we
love and care for them as often as possible.
God bless
