Thank you for this thread. My wife and I lost our son at the end of August. We are avoiding the holidays like the plague.
Great attitude!
Something like that happened to me almost five years ago.
I put my trust in God and hadn’t even started to seriously look
within 72 hours I had an offer not more $$$ but a far better job.
God is good!

It’s the first Christmas in 65 years that I will not be with my husband.
He entered a Memory Care Home (for
Alzheimers) in July.
Oh, I will visit him and bring him gifts and hold his hand and kiss his forehead.
But he doesn’t know it’s me.
Please pray for my Bill.
My prayers to all my FRiends needing comfort, especially those dealing with recent losses. We really do care for one another here, we have a place to go when dealing with the increasingly dark skies that lie ahead. But His light will guide us through anything. He promises us he will never leave us. Never.
Heavenly Father, we lift up your precious child, LiveFreeOrDie2001, to You and ask you to make Your presence felt in this situation.
You know the details because You are right there going through the situation with him. You make all things work out for good for those who love You and LiveFree loves you. So we boldly come before the Throne of Grace as joint heirs with Jesus. Everything that Yours is ours because we are Your children. You are a loving Father who only wants the best for Your children but You want us to experience our son-ship or daughter-ship for ourselves so you wait for us to ask for whatever it is we need even though You know what that is BEFORE we ask.
LiveFree places the burden he is facing at the foot of the throne and we know that You will take that burden and toss it into the lake of fire and in return You will bestow blessings upon LiveFree that will exceed his wildest imagination.
We give you praise and glory for answering this prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.
May God give Bo’s son whatever grace he needs at this moment. Amen.
