I have been a Christian a very long time but I had never been a The end is near proclaimer, until recently. The things that have been happening, including the acceptance a deviant behavior, such as homosexuality, as normal acceptable behavior, seem to have no bounds. It has caused me to read the Bible and pray more than ever and I have concluded that indeed the end may very well be near and I expect to hear the trumpet sounding any moment. I am ready and would rejoice but so many are not. Like the Bible says, things will be as it was in the time of Noah, I certainly think we can check off that box. Be ready my brothers and sisters and I will see you on that glorious day.
Great comments here.
Interesting how some of us were born arguably at peak Christian civilization (1950s), and yet in our approaching old age see a decline the steepness of which we can hardly comprehend.
Glad you are seeing our reality Bro!
We are witnessing the end of this Age of Grace. Your life (SOUL) is nothing to fool around with and you have wisely gone back to the Word of God regarding our times.
I likewise, await that trumpet. I’m also prepared for the Death Camps that might await Christians who refuse to give in to this demonic terror taking over the world. I wish I knew exactly how bad it got in Noah’s days. I think Paul has our times nailed IMHO.
2 Timothy 3:1-7
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
