The IUD's primary act IS abortifacient. The Pill is supposed to prevent ovulation but it has a secondary function of changing the uterine lining which makes it inhospitable to implantation of a fertilized egg. Even then, women can still become pregnant - it is not 100% effective. But the IUD isn't 100% effective either. It works to irritate the uterine lining and dislodge and prevent implantation of an embryo. Both methods cause the loss of a human life in the very early stages.
Pro-life pregnancy help centers - especially Christian ones - should not promote extra/pre-marital sex. There are plenty of resources women have access to if they choose to do so anyway, but these types of ministries should support the Godly purpose and plan of sexual activity within marriage and the blessings of children to that family union. Since most centers like this rely upon a group of volunteers and donations from local churches and individuals, they have a right to know if such "mixed messages" are happening. I know I wouldn't want to support such things.
You never responded to my comment that you should reach a wider audience.
You are down to earth, never come across as preachy, as real as anyone gets and i think a lot of pregnant women wo are on the fence would listen to you.
I’m not sure what a blog is but you should start one :)
