“
In 1842, after learning Eliza was pregnant, Emma Smith beat Eliza with a broomstick and
knocked her down a flight of stairs, causing Eliza to miscarry Smith’s baby.”
I have heard that rumer and can only find evedance of it being a little truth with a whole lot of made up stuff.
And then repeated by those who care more for the put down than the truth.
Do you have a reference I can check to see if there is any more truth in the version you repeat?
Thank you.
