The interview with the Islam expert was broadcasted as part of a morning magazine report that focuses on the spread of Islam in Europe and bears the title “Islamic Advance – Already 44 Million Believers in Europe.”

At the beginning of the conversation, Nikoletta Incze points out that many countries that are Islamic today were originally Christian, for example Turkey, Egypt and Syria.

In other countries as well, Islam supplanted the previous religion: Pakistan was Hindu, Afghanistan was Buddhist, Iran was dominated by Zoroastrianism.

Mohamed and his successors subjugated these countries militarily and Islamised them. Islamisation was a process that took centuries. The question arises at what point it was decided that Islam would prevail in these countries.

There are certain important factors at play in the US that those other countries don't have or have ever had. I'm not that worried about it.

Bottom line: if Muslims want it to get ugly, it will get very, very ugly for them.

You know... I have friends in SW Arkansas, and one of their nearby neighbours (now deceased, sadly), was an Army sergeant, who saw some ugly things in Viet Nam and other places (or at least he had claimed such - he gave me no reason to disbelieve him). When I met him in the early nineties, he would go on and on about how he believed that Islam was the greatest threat the world had ever known - In his words, Islam made Stalin and you-know-who look like Mary Poppins by comparison, and there was one statement that he made that made me dismiss him as a crank. He would say: “The western world is going to need to deal with the fact that sooner or later, we’re going to have to kill a *billion* of these people, if we intend to have so much as a single trace of western society survive and not be lost to history.”

At the time, as I said, I dismissed him as a crank, who was trying to shock people.

Well, I’m not laughing anymore.
That, alone, is nearly as shocking as his original words sounded to me.

And that’s why the Spanish were able to conquer the Aztec, Inca and just about anybody they faced in the 16th century. Seven hundred years of near-constant warfare tends to toughen up the men of a nation.
