The True Gospel salvation has God imputing the Righteousness of Christ to the born again BELIEVER ( not striver, believer). That is the tremendous, unfathomable Grace of God, a gift so great ONLY God can do it which gift you cannot earn and the retention of which is beyond human capacity.
