Church Must Convert from Cultural, Ecological Sins, Amazon Synod Concludes

Vatican City, Oct 26, 2019 / 03:45 pm (CNA).- The Amazon synod final document, published Saturday, laid out the need to define “ecological sins” while calling the Church to walk new paths of “integral conversion.”

“We propose to define ecological sins of commission or omission against God, one’s neighbor, the community and the environment,” paragraph 82 of the final document states. “They are sins against future generations and are manifest in acts and habits of pollution and destruction of the harmony of the environment.”

“No believer, no Catholic can live their life of faith without listening to the voice of the earth,” Bishop David Martínez de Aguirre Guinea, apostolic vicar of Puerto Maldonado, Peru explained at a press conference to present the final document Oct. 26.

“If we are going to face the problem, then we have to change,” Cardinal Michael Czerny, special secretary for the synod, added.

Czerny, who also serves as under-secretary of the Migrants and Refugees Section of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, warned that the “good news” will not necessarily reach people in the Amazon “if we continue doing what we have been doing.”

The final document for the Synod of Bishops on the Pan-Amazon region calls for a new four-fold expression of “integral conversion” for the Church in the Amazon: pastoral, cultural, synodal, and ecological. These are framed in terms of “new paths of conversion” in the chapter titles for each of the subjects.

“New paths” are a way of saying “change,” Czerny said. “Without conversions, we are repeating what we have done before ...but there is no real change.”

“We have brought our tradition into play so that we can find a way forward,” he said. For the pope, the most important necessary change is “pastoral change.”

While they’re at it they might as well change their name to the Roman Pagan Church.

Are the global elites paying off the Catholic church's diddling-kids law suit debt in exchange for this completely manufactured hijacking?

Because that's what it looks like, and if I were an evil globalist elite, this is what I would do. What better way to own a people than through their faith? Are catholics going to be so naive as to believe this crap?

So by adopting green standards that will lead to starvation and the increase in poverty plus plunging the world into darkness because of a non-trustworthy power supplies (might have seen this in California recently) - the church will take this stand - rather than see to it that the people are clothed and fed and sheltered first - and even foregoing their charter by God to feed and lead the people spiritually.

“No believer, no Catholic can live their life of faith without listening to the voice of the earth,”

The Pope maybe infallible on matters of faith and morals, but in matters of junk science he is way out of his lane.

Heresy continues to flow from the Vatican like torrent down a mountain. More Modernism from the Amazon Synod.

It would not be false to call the Modernists the worst enemies of the Church for it is not from without but from within that they plot the destruction of the Church; by mingling in themselves rationalism and Catholicism, which is used to subtly seduce the ignorant in the name of "progress".

Modernism - A Catholic Refutation

It has been a while since I read this it is long but it is worth the time.

Also a good read.

Modernism

The tenets of Modernism. I bold the ones I see in action at the synod.

(1) God cannot be known and proved to exist by natural reason;(2) external signs of revelation, such as miracles and prophecies, do not prove the divine origin of the Christian religion and are not suited to the intellect of modern man; (3) Christ did not found a Church; (4) and the essential structure of the Church can change; (5) the Church’s dogmas continually evolve over time so that they can change from meaning one thing to meaning another; (6) faith is a blind religious feeling that wells up from the subconscious under the impulse of a heart and a will trained to morality, not a real assent of the intellect to divine truth learned by hearing it from an external source.

Pope Piux X dubbed Modernism “the synthesis of all heresies.”

In September 1910 Pius X published an oath against Modernism which all clerics before the sub-diaconate, confessors, preachers, pastors, canons, benifice-holders, seminary professors, officials in Roman congregations and episcopal curias, and religious superiors were required to take.

This oath required one to reject the six principal errors listed above, to affirm and assent to Lamentabili and Pascendi, and to reject a variety of other errors, especially those opposing doctrine and history (such as the difference between the Christ of faith and the Jesus of history). Only 40 priests in the entire world refused to take the anti-Modernist oath, which effectively ended the Modernist crisis for the short term.

I confess to Almighty Pachamama, to the Blessed Rivers, to the Blessed Trees, to the Blessed Mountains, to the Holy Apostles Rock and Ocean, and to all the animals, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word and deed, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault.

Therefore, I beseech the Blessed Rivers, the Blessed Trees, the Blessed Mountains, the Holy Apostles Rock and Ocean, and all the animals, to pray to the Lord our Pachamama for me. Amen.

Rich, European Vatican to Amazonians: Don't even think about rising out of poverty. Don't even think about developing your region. Dream of farming? You can't have one. Want to attract industry? Nope. It would all be a "sin."

But, hey, you get to live in abject poverty in an ecological paradise! And the occasional European tourist might throw a few Euros your way. Maybe.

False prophets or wolves in sheep’s clothing

Is the Pope Catholic ?
This one seems to prefer Gaia rather than Jesus Christ.
