Wow, some big words there my friend...
We just say believe God and be ready... He’s at the door!

I tend to think God has a sense of humor.

He left the whole "end of the world thing" open ended for a reason.... to see how humans on earth would handle it.

The "world could be ending" right now as we are typing or reading, or it could be a billions of years later.

There is a line in the Holy Bible, no man shall know.

A whole lot of Millerites looked pretty stupid walking out of the church in Calais, Vermont the evening of the day "the world was supposed to end".

Many other groups through history have done the same.

I'm sure God got a good chuckle each time.

Mogger is correct - the folks who preach the pre-Trib Rapture are in the line of Millerites, Jehovah’s Witnesses etc. - sensationalists who misread the Bible.

The book of the revelation chapters 2 to 19 talk of the destruction of earthly Jerusalem and the destruction of the 2nd Temple. This is JUST as Jesus spoke about in Matthew that the temple would be destroyed.

Jesus told His followers to run to the hills - and the Christians did that during the seige of Jerusalem (67 to 70 AD) and ran to the hill side town of Pellas and lived - not one Christ-follower died.

The book fo Revelations talks of the new Babylon - the city that crucified the Lord, the city in the line of Egypt and Sodom whose streets were filled with the blood of the saints as Jersualem of 69 AD (not the Jerusalem of today). It spoke of the judgement of the harlot-city of Jerusalem-of-69AD that rode upon the beast (the roman empire) that eventually devoured and burnt Jerusalem.

This same beast was thought dead when the Julio-Claudian dynasty died with Nero (Nero who was the anti-Christ, whose name spelt out 666) - Nero the 6th horn/king (Caesar, Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero) to be followed by the 7th “king”, Galba who reigned but a short time

This fear mongering has worked in the pre-Trib rapture groups since the 1800s. It’s fake and non-biblical.
