Cardinal Blase Cupich and Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul held a rare face-to-face meeting within the last month, according to the Attorney General's office.
The meeting took place at Raouls Chicago office, and was requested by Cardinal Cupich, according to officials.
The meeting comes after the Attorney Generals office began investigating all six Illinois dioceses last year after a shocking Pennsylvania grand jury report on abuse within the Catholic Church.
Before former Attorney General Lisa Madigans term expired earlier this year, she announced that there were allegations against at least 500 priests and clergymen in Illinois that had never been made public.

RCINC is the oldest most profitable multinational corporation on the planet
Sadly Democrats, despite their hatred for Catholicism, are very likely to go easy on predatory, criminal, homosexual priests. They don’t prosecute homosexuals.
You are making a category mistake. Ownership/management of Catholic institutions is far more decentralized than even most Catholics realize. And here in the USA, most of them are 501(c)(3) separately-incorporated nonprofits.
Sadly true. In the case of the Democrat leadership, pro-homosex often outweighs anti-Catholic.
Even if you go by assets or profit potential, once you correct for the fact that there are about a billion Catholics and maybe 11 or 12 million Mormons, the Mormons can buy and sell the Catholics many, many times over.

The cabal, doing what it does.
You bet there is. It's Illinois. We lead the entire country in corruption.
Note: allegations are not guilt.
Also, much of the property, churches, artwork, artifacts and treasures in the Vatican are held in trust for humanity and posterity. They are only managed by the Catholic Church. The Church cannot sell or profit from them.
I believe (?) this was part of the Lateran Treaty when the Holy See territory was clarified.
Any organization of any size has lawyers on call, because any organization of any size can be sued, and courts can certainly find wrongly against them if they don't put up a defense. That's just common sense.
It's also common sense that not every accusation of abuse is true or credible. You have a call from Brett Kavanaugh on line 2.
