I am no longer Catholic, but I grew up one.
I will pray for the Catholic Church. I will pray for all of us. It has been such a hard time.
Thank you. I have an inkling your prayers may be especially precious to God. Certainly your kindness is.
I am a miserable sinner. I am utterly unworthy of salvation. I am justified only by my faith that Jesus paid in full for my sin. Whatever good I’ve done in all this madness are rags.
I am completely dependent upon His perfect grace.
As such, my prayers are as good as anybody’s I suppose. All I know is how my heart hurts, and there are times I think that it would be better to be dead and free of all of this and with God. That’s cowardice talking I guess.
I think about the future of my kids, and what they will face, and it hurts me.
Somebody told me that when human beings fall, they do not fall to the level of the "bestial": they fall to the level of the demonic. I'm pretty sure we're seeing that now.
But God is good, and all the good say "Trust Him."
