I'm not looking to argue with you but as I said in my initial post there are lies and myths, perpetuated by Protestants, regarding Catholicism. One of those myths is (and it's always stated as a blanket statement)that Catholics are going to hell for their worship of Mary and idol worship etc etc. But they are not worshiping her above Christ. They do revere her but not above Jesus.
I will never stand silent again when I hear a Protestant degrading the Catholic faith. It's not right.
That is but one proclamation of the Roman Catholic church.

You mention the worship of Mary.
I encourage you to read the post I just made to mrs. d about what an apparition claiming to be Mary said what one has to do to avoid the eternal fire (Hell).

I take the New Testament position on these matters. I compare Roman Catholic, Methodist, Baptist, whoever, to what is in the NT.
Paul did not hesitate to call out false doctrine.
As followers of Christ we are to call out ALL false doctrine.

Speaking from emotions seems to cause more problems than it solves.
Pride of self effort is at the heart of most of Catholicism. If your self pride is that strong, you would be right at home in Mrs Don-o’s Catholicism teaching. .... But don’t take the MArk of the Beast when it is commanded to you after the True Ekklesia of Jesus Christ has been snatched away from the coming wrath of GOD.
