“‘That’s fine if that’s what they stand for,’ Brittney said. But make it known that’s what you stand for.”

Um, that’s exactly what they did, you stupid activist dyke.

And isn’t it nice that they gave the Christian school their permission.

Why don’t you look at your own tagline for the answer to your comment. We are at war.

“>have been married for two years and have acquired four kids.”

More accurate.

You may be raising 4 children, but it is biologically impossible that the two of you have any children together.

These folks take a snippet of the Christs words and actions and misapply and extrapolate it to justify their own sinning lives...even if you don't believe in Jesus...that is a very naïve interpretation of the work of Jesus the Christ.

Exactly. They conveniently leave out the words "go and sin no more" when talking about Christ's acceptance of sinners. He wasn't accepting sinners. He was accepting the truly repentant heart.

Excellent points, which should be made more often and forcefully.

Such schools are not just accepting the child, but the entire family as well. They could not be excluded from family events at the school (without a massive lawsuit) and they would influence the other children by their conspicuous presence and obviously activist attitudes like an infection.

They got ‘marriage’ by their demand. That wasn’t supposed to affect anyone else, right?

...bigotry towards the parents lifestyle

So your position is that the first amendment protection of freedom to practice one's religion, and the freedom to self-associate with those you choose to do not apply to the church, its congregants, or their faith-based business?

You have previously said you do not favor a law forcing the business to accept the child, but you continue to demean the day care's practice of their religious principles. It's a curious juxtaposition.

Here’s what the school should do in response to this smear:

Heartily offer to enroll their daughter in the school program if they will give up the child they acquired to a mother/father parenting couple. If they REALLY care about the child, they will do this. Apparently there are no other daycare centers in the state.

Sin or not, in this case i’m on the side of the gay couple. There’s no way that they should be denied day care by a christian organization or business. This is absolutely a black eye for the church.

This is rearing its head a thousand different ways.

My neighbors grandkids are being raised by two lesbians because their real mother is a drugged out skank. The lesbians adopted all 5 kids so that they could remain a family. I've met 3 of the daughters and they are doing pretty well socially but they go to a church with a female pastor who is telling the congregation that the church down the street won't allow "dark skinned" people to attend. A TOTAL LIE.

In the local library in my city they have actually allowed tranny book readers and then they are sponsoring an "I AM" march through a part of town.

This is rearing it's head a thousand ways.

How many straight atheist liberals are hoping for more and more gays in this country to offend the Christians?

Many I suspect.

And it is absolutely disgusting how sloppy thinking abusers of themselves are paraded around as virtuous when they are actually as intelligent as a motor neuron.

“And this is different from the cases of the bakers and florists how? “

It’s not different at all.
I am making the case that it’s a mistake to have done it this way. Others are making the case that it wasn’t a mistake. There’s good arguments for both sides I think. But in this forum it’s not easy to find someone who’ll take a side against this kind of headwind.

I just think that a soft answer turns away wrath. So it would have been better to have taken these children into daycare and shown them AND their parents how god loves people. The way I see it, and in my apparently minority opinion, instead we’re showing them just the opposite.

Nevertheless I retain my position even if everyone thinks i’m wrong.

“continue to demean”

No Not Demean...
I hold that they are perfectly within their rights and it was a tough call. I come down opposed to their decision with respect and love. And with an understanding that they are indeed under attack. I think that there was a better way to handle this by taking the children in and educating them in the same way that the school systems take our children and miseducate them.

My point is that the gospel of jesus is MORE powerful than the gospel of progressivism. And where is our faith in it.

Who needs the influence of a Christian day care more than a child who is the victim of a homosexual liaison?

You have a valid point, but the pattern of behavior is clear. Progressives like these women demand entrance into a space defined by religious views they disagree with. Then, once inside the tent, they decry the teachings that they knew they would disagree with. Then they sue, costing the business enormous amounts of money, and possibly driving it into insolvency.

How many times has this scenario played out?

The Bible says to be in the world, but not of it. It is difficult to not be of the world when you accept the world’s premise that you must conform to the world’s rules - at penalty of forfeiture of your own rights.
