No, the Catholic church has been in a death spiral for hundreds, if not over a thousand years.
His papacy is the fruition of Roman Catholicism.

Hardly. There has been massive subversion going on within the Catholic Church since the 1960's. Read the book, "Good Bye, Good Men." One result was that potential seminarians who held traditional theological views - especially concerning sexual ethics - were discouraged from entering the priesthood, or were even actively weeded out.
Some left the seminaries in disgust after they saw that they had become havens for open homosexuality. It's estimated that 30% (or more) of today's Catholic priests are homosexual.
Francis is the flowering of the Church's problems, not its cause.
