Genes are funny oddities.
You think your family tree is one thing and it could be something totally different.
I’m not sure how accurate those genetic tests are, as a matter of fact I’m highly skeptical - but all along my family thought we were over 50% Spanish/Basque and our surnames match that trend as well. Turns out it only accounts for 5% of the bloodline. LOL!

Well, since I had had blood taken from me for neigh on 30 years (by the US Navy and the VA), I figure doing a 23 & me or whatever doesn’t open up my genetic material any further than it already is, so will probably be doing one this week.
