Great question. Actually, it is the friendship of God and evil wants to twist and distort to prevent it. I went to church all my life but didn’t really trust that He is good. To finally encounter His goodness for me was discovering “He feels better than Christmas Day.” Our friendship is based on his generosity and extravagant love for his son—me.
By the way earth will be part of our inheritance when Jesus makes all things new. Remember he let us know that we will receive all things back that were lost because of our love for Him.
