Amazing! That's exactly what learned and highly respectable Jews say about Christological types and prophecies in the OT. They say it's all wishful thinking, back-reading and eisegesis on the part of Christians.

I think it takes an attitudinal shift, in that we have to 1 (Corinthians 2:16) "Have the mind of Christ.” Having the mind of Christ means sharing the plan, purpose, and perspective of Christ, who fulfilled the commandments and always honored His Father and His mother.

The Jews don’t accept the NT as inspired.

We do.

You can’t just pretend things are true and have them become true.

However, unlike the many for Christ, the NT nowhere interprets the claimed typologies of Mary as being just that, nor that the NT even engaged in this cultic Catholic extrapolation. Moreover, fuller examination of such attempts as making the Ark a figure of Mary show these fail as they lack critical correspondence and or have other correspondence. (As with Rev. 12).

Rather than Mary being presented as an anti-type, we have,

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. (Luke 24:27) Not Mary.

For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ. (Acts 18:28)

Indeed, in accordance to what is written, and which admonishes us not to think of mortals beyond what is written, and which Catholics disregard.

And rather than the so-called "veneration of Mary being in accordance with Scripture, there is a world of difference btwn reverential respect and what one would have a hard time in Bible times explaining, kneeling before a statue and praising the entity it represented in the unseen world, beseeching such for Heavenly help, and making offerings to them, and giving glory and titles and ascribing attributes to such which are never given in Scripture to created beings (except to false gods), including having the uniquely Divine power glory to hear and respond to virtually infinite numbers of prayers individually addressed to them

Which manner of adulation can constitute worship in Scripture , yet Catholics imagine that by playing word games then they can avoid crossing the invisible line between mere "veneration" and worship.

Moses, put down those rocks! I was only engaging in hyper dulia, not adoring her. Can't you tell the difference?

I've seen plenty of you Catholics with the mind of Rome.
