Believe it or not, the Catholic Church has a dress code. No bare shoulders means no cleavage, halter tops, spaghetti straps. Also no shorts, and no pants for women. People tell me this is fully enforced in Rome although that was before Francis. Many rural parishes in my diocese offer shawls for offenders, and believe it or not, by Church law, you can be refused Communion if you’re not dressed modestly. You come to church to worship the Most High God, not yourself, so COVER IT, girls!!!

No, the Catholic Church does not have any official or written dress code. That is laughable.
You may be thinking of the old “rule of 3.” Female modesty in dress: the neckline must be no lower than 3 inches below the collar bone, and the hem of dress should fall 3 inches below the knee!
