FULL TITLE: Presbyterian minister, 69, 'took advantage of troubled men who came to him for counsel by telling them oral sex was a healing method he used to get rid of evil spirits dwelling in them'
A Presbyterian minister has been accused of taking advantage of troubled men who came to him for counsel by telling them that oral sex was a 'healing method' he used to get rid of evil spirits in them.
Reverend Dr. William Weaver, 69, removed himself Linden Presbyterian Church in New Jersey in January this year, three days before he was due to face the accusations.
Three adult men say he told them that they had to expunge demons and evil spirits lurking in their bodies through their semen.
The men say he would have them undress, lie flat on their backs naked and balance stones and coins on their bodies, telling them not to move while he performed oral sex on them.
Afterwards, the men say he told them not to tell anyone about what they had done because no one would understand.
They shared their stories with My Central New Jersey on Tuesday. The church also found that he had downloaded gay porn to his computer, it is reported.
Because the men were all of age when they say the alleged encounters happened and because they consented to them, there are no grounds for criminal action.
By stepping down from Linden, where he had worked for 39 years, he left before he could be asked to.
Weaver has since not spoken of the allegations, telling My Central New Jersey that he 'could not' comment when approached.
DailyMail.com's attempts to reach him were not successful on Tuesday.
A.J. Meeker, now 37, claims he was one of the men who Weaver did it to.

How can any guy think this was biblical and go through with it?
The articles did say they were “troubled” so they were “easy to fool”?
One has to try hard to find enough Protestant Christian sexual abuse articles to post on FR in order to make some comparison with all the Catholic ones.
From their web site.
PCUSA - I'm not sure why this would be a career limiting event for him.
If a friend told me that he let a priest blow him to get rid of demons I think I would just stare and blink and then stare and blink and then punch him in the face.
You should be working at CNN. They can report a kid having his bike stolen in Canada and find a way to blame Trump. Here you a story about a terrible Protestant minister and of course you use it as and opportunity to attack Catholics.
If he were Episcopalian, this wouldn’t even be an issue. It would be a bonus.
That minister should be kicked out of the church and locked up.
Actually, his actions do not disqualify him from being a pastor in the PCUSA. A few yeares ago the PCUSA removed the requirements that pastors, elders and deacons be “faithful in marriage and chaste in singleness,” meaning it was ok to commit fornication or adultery or engage in other sexual immorality.
As an elder, that crossed the boundary for me and I left the denomination. Of course, now you have open homosexuality, same-sex “marriage,” and now they’re moving on to transgenderism.
I wouldn’t punch him, but I WOULD recommend a competent psychiatrist and/or a spiritual counselor at a more God-fearing, Bible-believing church.
Or maybe I would just have him recite P.T. Barnum’s “There’s a sucker born every minute” until he died.
cradle to grave
Erection to resurrection.
It’s not about Catholic and protestant. It’s about evil.
Why don’t they just take donations of gold jewelry with which to forge a large calf while they’re at it?
Plenty of people take what figures of authority in a church say at face value, often will battle to the death in defense of it without even looking it up.
Saw this at a church where a husband was told that his wife having sex with another man was a “holy union” and he should just “step aside”.
The person saying that was the head elder, and had told the wife that her marriage wasn’t valid in the eyes of that church as her husband wasn’t a member of their denomination and sex with others was magically not adultery as it somehow magically wasn’t sex.
So I’m guessing these guys figured “authority figure told me so” and bought it.
Don’t blame the victims. The minister is the evil, vicious one here.
“Its not about Catholic and protestant. Its about evil.”
You summed it up perfectly.
My word, that is not something I could allow myself to do.
The Bible is the authoritynot a grotesque, perverted elder of Satans church.
Bizarre!
