Dear LORD, for centuries this was the bedrock of our Nation. Our founding fathers knew the blessing, honor and glory that comes with the Nation whose GOD is the LORD. Gradually, LORD, we have allowed our Nation to be divided between those who build their house upon “THE ROCK” and those who build their house upon the sand. Two houses, two outcomes, which one will stand in the end. Indeed, unless the LORD build the house, our Nation labors in vain.
Dear LORD, we hear Your voice which echoes through the centuries: See to it that you remain calm and unafraid. Be not intimidated by these two smoking tail ends of kindling . . . For us, they are the mass media and the ungodly political parties who are bent on destroying our nation through the burning down of our republic and all that it stands for. We pray, Dear LORD, that you will assist and empower President Trump with the strength of conviction, faith, commitment and resolve so that we may remain established as One Nation Under God. Speak to him and all his councils the words spoken in 2 Chron. 20:20: “Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be established; believe in his prophets, and you will succeed”. OH LORD, as Jehoshaphat consulted with the people and appointed those who would sing to the LORD and praise the splendor of His holiness. As they went out before the army, they were singing: “Give thanks to the LORD, for His loving devotion endures forever.” (vs. 21) May the voices of the people of our Nation be heard singing Your praise, encouraging our Military with the promises of faith. May they not be abandoned by our Nation of the Greatness of Your Power and Authority by any deviation from the FAITH, or any reluctance to proclaim it.
And LORD, we pray for each and every individual soul in America. From the White House, to the Court House, to the Church House, to the houses of every person, and LORD, for each of us here praying today, a special request for our homes and the homes of our children and our children’s children: Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you and your family will be saved. . . For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 16:31; 2:39)
May we end our prayer with the words of the song “We Believe” by Newsboys: “So, let our faith be more than anthems ~ Greater than the songs we sing ~ And in our weakness and temptations, We believe, we believe. We believe in God the Father, We believe in Jesus Christ, We believe in the Holy Spirit, And He's given us new life. We believe in the crucifixion, We believe that He conquered death, We believe in the resurrection, And He's comin' back again ~ He’s comin’ back again. We believe." Amen.
