BEIJING - China has begun five-day Confucian culture immersion courses for religious leaders in the sages hometown as part of a campaign to extend government control over faith communities through a process of sinicization.
The ruling Communist Partys United Work Front Department said in a news release issued Monday that the activity was designed to ensure the primacy of traditional Chinese values above all.
To hold activities here
is a collective tribute to excellent traditional Chinese culture and a conscious identification and integration with Chinese culture, said the release, posted on the departments website.

I wouldn’t mind a 5 day immersion course here for religions leaders on the writing and meaning of the Constitution and the values of those who signed it.
That ain’t gonna happen though.
Yeah. China is doing things right. America should sit up and start taking notes.
Like how they are reeducating Muslims not to rape children, and keeping them in internment camps until they are able to live in society.
Like how they are providing cheap affordable transportation for it’s citizens. Instead of raising taxes to protect the environment.
Like how they offer free open daily exercise activity for everyone twice a day instead of banning large size soft-drinks.
America needs to start paying attention. Banning things, taxing things, and allowing riff-raff in the nation is not the way a healthy nation legislates.

“Yeah. China is doing things right. America should sit up and start taking notes.”
Lol.
You so oo mao dong
Sure beats Chairman Mao.
The Confucian emphasis on respect for superiors will be used by the Communist regime to further cement their authority.
“President Xi Jinping has launched the harshest crackdown in decades on religious practices, especially those viewed as foreign such as Christianity and Islam”
This is incorrect. Islam was designated a domestic Chinese religion by the Communists when founding the PRC.
Many good points.
I’d like to leave the getting arrested if you bad mouth the leader part over there though :)
The rest sounds great!
