An anti-homosexual bakery has been opened in Kemerovo, Russia. Same-sex couples are not allowed to be customers there. The owners call the business,“Bread from a Russian Oven, by the Ipatov Brothers”. One of the owners of the bakery, Anton Ipatov, says that so far he has heard only praise about his business.
"If there is a fire on the ship, and everyone else is just going to bars and getting drunk, quietly minding their own business, then everyone will burn on that ship", explains Ipatov.
The co-owner believes that the appearance of such a place is a reason to start talking about homosexuality. He says that homosexuals discriminate against normal people, in favor of perversions, radically undermining the system of family values.
"Ipatov adheres to this point of view for a reason, and submits to the laws of God,” writes one commenter.

I don’t think you can fairly characterize Russian federal government as autocratic. The leftist Western media just likes to play that angle because government is Russia now is rather like U.S. government in the 1950’s.
Your post has nice thoughts and all but we are well past the Constitutional phase. Barring a Great Awakening, we are going to have war and a real autocratic government. Soon.
Yes — the constitution was built (albeit with flaws, such as the nod to chattel slavery) to work for a people having general Christian principles.
America would need to see a revival to survive in Constitutional form. It might well see a revival, not because of its own sake, but for the sake of one more demonstration of the glory of the Lord in salvation before the Holy Spirit goes bye-bye along with a raptured body of Christ.
As for autocratic — just ask: how many years has Russia depended on Vladimir Putin? How has he solidified his control? If a closet gay manages to worm his way up, Russia could go gay-gay overnight when Putin croaks.

The Russian government is increasingly autocratic although not near to the point the media wants you to think it is. The authoritarian tendencies are all too clear to say otherwise.
Russia is also now grassroots anti-American and more so than at any point of Cold War for some reason.
And the problem that fifteen to ten years ago when the demonization of Russia started it was as free or had more freedoms than most of so-called free countries.
It basically means that there is nothing you can’t hate back into existence.
