Show me where the Trinity is defined in the New Testament. (it isnt)
tells, this has been answered many times on FR.
The word is never used in Scripture, nor is the word bible used in the Bible.
Yet Scripture clearly teaches there is one God.
It also teaches that the Father, Son, and Spirit are each God.
The doctrine of the Triune God puts these scripture teaching into one.
In contrast to the clear teaching of scripture, mormonic doctrine falsely teaches there are many, many gods.
As such, Mormonism is a henotheistic cult.
Where does it teach that?
Christ clearly teaches the ‘oneness’ that he shares with God the Father in John 17:20-23 King James Version (KJV)
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
... How do you torment the ‘Doctrine of the Trinity’ out of these words from the mouth of Jesus Christ?
