Bingo. As much as people hate Jack Chick’s work, everything he’s drawn or written about has come to pass, and that top one will probably become an every day occurrence.
I attended a private Christian school long ago. I was well acquainted with Chick.
As an introverted math nerd, I had a bifurcated response from the start:

I have seen how people treat you when you’re down. My guess is they’ll be using their phone apps to report anyone who isn’t part of “the system” when those times eventually come. In that respect, “They Live” wasn’t that far off. Of course they used watches. Interesting that technology is well on its way. I haven’t kept up with the latest. Is there a cell phone watch now? From what I heard, Jack Chick had a prison ministry and would sketch his presentations on a big flip chart, using visuals to enhance the presentation.
As the story goes, someone suggested he put that in smaller form and that’s how it got started. Dunno, that’s how I understand it.

I worked in a Christian organization where one of their beloved writers assured them that was not going to happen.
In fact, he’s still one of their favorites. I read his small book on Bible Prophecy (really didn’t want to). My boss insisted. Completely-wrong, it was.
