They do not preclude each other.
Just because the rule of law is (supposed to be) *innocent until proved guilty*, doesn't mean that it's a fact or that you are wrong about your suspicions. Or that you can't have them.
You can be as certain as anything that a person is guilty, but the trial still must be conducted with that presumption of innocence.
Sadly, it means that too often a guilty person walks free because beyond reasonable doubt cannot be established, but the worst would be condemning an innocent man.
Besides, they don't escape GOD'S judgment, even if they (think they) get away with it here.
I don’t believe in innocent till proven guilty. It can be clear someone committed a crime and they can be found not guilty by and ignorant or racist jury.
