On a Sunday morning at Beth Israel Worship Center in Wayne, N.J., a bearded pastor named Jonathan Cahn stood on an elevated platform, gazing over a full house. Stage lights shifted from blue to white as the backing band played a drifting melody. Two men hoisted curled rams horns and let out long blasts. Sitting at the end of a sleepy drive an hour from Manhattan, Beth Israel may look like any common suburban church. But the center has a highly unusual draw. Every weekend, some 1,000 congregants gather for the idiosyncratic teachings of the churchs celebrity pastor, an entrepreneurial doomsday prophet who claims that President Trumps rise to power was foretold in the Bible.
Mr. Cahn is tapping into a belief more popular than may appear.
A recent Fox News poll found one in four Americans believe God wanted Donald Trump to become president. Celebrities like the televangelist Paula White and Franklin Graham have boosted the idea. The presidents own press secretary suggested as much in a January interview. And on the opening day of the Conservative Political Action Conference this month, the millionaire businessman Michael Lindell took to the stage and declared President Trump chosen by God.

Have they been teaching about the game of Hangman this week, what with Purim coming up?
It's all about guessing the right letters:
HANGMAN
NG
2.(Internet slang) Initialism of no good.
I see. Thanks. Trump of the trumpet.
Bingo!
Wow.
Ah, what do I know.
It’s just that Jesus is God and God is all knowing and those are STRONG statements Jesus makes. They are not murky or given to interpretation.
But i’m about as far from a biblical scholar as a dem is from honesty so what do i know? :)
Jonathan Cahn preaches a strong message of repentance.
Ive heard his national prayer breakfast speeches and was impressed with both.
I read both The Harbinger and The Paradigm and found both intriguing.
The only times Ive seen him blow it is when he tries to prophecy. He needs to stay away from that.
You people are Great. I was down in the dumps until I read this Post. God Bless you all.
Agree. We all should stay away from it, as Amir has said many times.
I find some very worthy things in what he has to say in his preaching. His church is about 10 miles from where I went to middle school and high school, so I find his speech familiar but of course much more impressive than the usual.
People can check out a few on YouTube to see if there is one that is particularly inspiring for them.
Hi.
Interesting, but there is no mention of President Trump or the U.S. in the Book of Revelation (the Apocalypse).

You mean the guy whose appearance was of burnished brass ISNT Trump? ;-)
All summer and fall 2016 the below message was forwarded by individual Evangelicals (and a few others) to entire prayer lists. It went viral. Was everything else a copycat? Or is WAR the prophet?
A Message For Christians About Donald Trump....
Wayne Allyn Root, Jun 24, 2016 12:01 AMhttp
I am a Jew turned evangelical Christian. I am also a passionate supporter of Donald Trump.
I have a message for Christians who dont like Donald Trump: YOURE MISSING THE BOAT.
Christians have Trump all wrong. God sends messages in many forms. Youre just not listening. God is talking, but youre eyes and ears are closed.
Heres a famous joke about God and how he talks to us.
A deeply faithful Christian man is stuck on roof of home with massive flooding up to 2nd floor. Rowboat comes. He says No, Im waiting for God. Ive prayed and I know hes coming. 2ndrowboat. No, Im waiting for God. 3rd rowboat. No, Im waiting for God.
Water rises. The man drowns. Now hes meeting God in heaven. The religious man says Where were you God? I prayed. I was faithful. I asked you to save me. Why would you abandon me?
God says, Hey dummy, I sent you 3 rowboats. Are you blind?
Did you ever consider Trump is our rowboat?
Maybe God is trying to tell us something important- that now is not the time for a nice Christian guy or a gentleman or a typical Republican powder puff. Maybe now is the time for a natural born killer, a ruthless fighter, a warrior.
Because right about now we need a miracle, or America is finished.
Maybe the rules of gentleman dont apply here. Maybe a gentleman and all-around nice Christian would lead us to slaughter.

Or do you want another Mitt Romney, Bob Dole, John McCain, Gerald Ford or Paul Ryan? Did any of them win? Did they lead the GOP to the promised land? Did they change the direction of America? No, because if you dont win, you have no say.
Paul Ryan couldnt even deliver his own state Wisconsin!
And as leader of the House, Paul Ryan rolls over to Obama like my dog rolls over for a scrap of food, or a steak bone. Hes a useful idiot. Nice, but obedient. I mean Paul Ryan not my dog. My dog is actually a pretty good defender and loyal.
Maybe God is knocking on your door so loud, but youre not listening. Maybe God understands we need a “war leader” at this moment in time. Maybe God understands if we dont win this election, America is dead. Its over. The greatest nation in world history will be gone. Finished. Kaput. Adios.
And with one last breath, maybe what we need to save us at the last second, is someone different. Someone you havent ever experienced before- because you werent raised in rough and tumble New York where nothing good gets accomplished unless you’re combative, aggressive, outrageous, on offense at all times, and maybe just a tad arrogant too.
Works for me.
Mr. Nice Guy Christian is NOT working for us.
God is a warrior, a man of war.
You need ot FIGHT for righteouness and not let evil flourish.
Turning the other cheek doesnt work. Appeasement doesnt work.
yep
Seven Triumphs.
Read your scripture man.
The book of Daniel is pretty clear - God puts people in power, and takes them out of power.
There is one guy who claims that the last blowing of the trumpet is the end of the seven years’ Tribulation—literally. As I recall, he places that at the end of the last Yom Kippur, the last trumpet of the holy days, right before Christ’s return.
Nice and neat, except that we still don’t know when the seven years of the peace agreement start. If either side rejects Kushner’s plan, there is no agreement. Somebody else will have to try.
The main thing is the main thing . . . that people are ready and we have been given a Great Commission by God to tell people all around us about Jesus and His Saving Grace. I do believe time is running out . . .evil is everywhere and the minds of the little ones are being indoctrinated at very early ages. So so sad.
I also believe that God is working in Trumps life to make him a more righteous man. Does anyone agree?
I just pray it will still be God's plan that he be re-elected for a second term.
Also read The Harbinger and thought it was a fascinating book.
Personally, I think we are in the times prophets in the bible warned us about. When I see a president of a country which could very well be mystery Babylon, named Trump, who followed one named Obama, as in 'Obamanation', talking about building a wall, in obviously a land of "un-walled villages", my spidey-sense is activated.
Follow this up with numerous other prophecies that have been fulfilled, could fulfill, and taking world events into consideration as well; yeah, I think we're here at the beginning of a new age and the end of this one.
How it really comes to pass is anyone's guess, so I don't let what "we think" has or hasn't been fulfilled, lull me into thinking we can tell when things will really fall apart.
It could be a decade from now, a year from now, or tonight. What worries me most, as a resident of what may prove to be 'mystery Babylon', are the warnings in Isaiah and Jeremiah.
Could we turn it around, do the 2 Chronicles 7:14 thing? YES, we could. Will we? I seriously doubt it. As a people or nation, we no longer have faith (follow God), nor courage of convictions.
Gentiles, I hate to say, may simply prove not worthy to carry the banner any farther. But keep reading the prophecies. The bible is a living link to the Almighty. If we've been given a reprieve, we'll find it in the word of the God.
IMO.
[But even the lesser in-tune can sense the season]
That part I agree with.
I see things in Trump that seem to be a "God thing". For one, his avoidance of alcohol for his entire life.
I'm not saying that occasional consumption of the "fruit of the vine" is a bad thing. I say it in comparison to biblical Samson, who never cut his hair.
I also see a "God thing" in the amount of energy the man has, in his sometimes genius, energetic speeches.
And yes, I believe God will "make him a more righteous man," provided he doesn't turn against what is right, and provided we all continue to PRAY for him and the country! :)
