Clergy sex abuse of children has rocked the Catholic Church not only in terms of trust and reputation, but also financially, to the tune of more than $3 billion, according to National Public Radio.
The multibillion-dollar expense has gone to settlements in response to lawsuits filed by people abused by clergy, reports NPR. Nearly 20 Catholic dioceses and religious orders have filed for bankruptcy because of the scandals.
An attorney whose firm represented abuse victims said that the money the church has paid because of the crisis is part of justice for those who suffered, though it hardly compensates for all the damage done.

So here you are as a Parishioner. They pass the plate. How stupid are you for giving money that goes to their criminal lawyers and sexually raped boys and men ? That is “ dumb” redefined.
The church was always meant to be local and autonomous. No church should answer to a diocese. Christ did not die for a man made papacy mired in homosexuality and child molestation.
Because the Roman Catholic Church is nowhere near the New Testament example of a church; it is not surprising to see news like this.
The Catholic Church, though its recruitment of new priests, has attracted homosexual trainees. Seminaries became bastions of homosexuals who went on to become ordained priests who headed their own parish. This set up the Church for destruction by subversives who want all Christian churches to be destroyed.
