Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem






(Old Testament)

1 Samuel 11





Saul Confirmed as King

12 The people then said to Samuel, “Who was it that asked, ‘Shall Saul reign over us?’ Turn these men over to us so that we may put them to death.”

13 But Saul said, “No one will be put to death today, for this day the Lord has rescued Israel.”

14 Then Samuel said to the people, “Come, let us go to Gilgal and there renew the kingship.” 15 So all the people went to Gilgal and made Saul king in the presence of the Lord. There they sacrificed fellowship offerings before the Lord, and Saul and all the Israelites held a great celebration.

This little incident demonstrates that Saul was a basically decent person with a great many flaws.

Ancient of Days,
Rock Of Ages,
The All-In-All,
Aleph~Tav,
Alpha and Omega!
It is a Joy to Praise You,

Endlessly Creative,

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem






This morning, when i turned on my Antique legacy Computer to post today's thread, I was horrified to find that , during the night, my entire system crashed. I am presently rebuilding my "platform" but thank goodness today's Scripture is somewhat short. Well, it may be short, but it sure is RELEVANT to our current times.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.(Philippians 4:8 NIV)
