I’m Catholic and I despise Dolen, the Pope and all the sick priests who were (are?) allowed to prey on innocent children. And did I mention the open border policy of the Church? Sick stuff and combined these issues have kept me away from Mass for decades.

He said He would never abandon the Church. So He won’t. These guys have a tremendous responsibility they are neglecting. No amount of our not showing up and not contributing could come close to what’s waiting for them if they don’t renounce sexual deviancy and fix this
I read all the books of the Left Behind series. But one of the things (at the time) that always confused me was how the “new religion” popped up and supported the rise of the AntiChrist. Back then I thought the Catholic Church was filled with noble leaders who fought against evil like righteous Paladins, come what may. Needless to say, I now understand.
I think the Catholic Church lost its soul in World War II when it did little to help stem the tide of the Nazis, and seemed more concerned with the preservation of its property and Vatican treasures than caring for its flock.
Today, you can’t even get the Pope to say something is immoral, except irrational things like taking Communion after a divorce, or a wall to protect what’s yours.
I’m with you. Dolen is a failure as well as the Pope. Our Church has an unused convent where they are housing illegals, for their further trip to who knows where. I’ve stoped all giving to the Diocese.
Why do you think so many Catholics continue to vote for evil people like Cuomo?
I’d bet Cuomo will get as many, or more, Catholic votes next election.
Cardinal Dolan is a Pillsbury doughboy on moral issues. Not all the shepherds are that bad, but, yes, we are embarrassed and scandalized by the bad ones. I have hope because I believe the prophecies that this will get straightened out, after we suffer a bunch.
