Rev. Jacqui Lewis, a senior minister at Middle Collegiate Church in New York, took the stage Saturday at the Womens March and announced what she believed to be Americans greatest enemies. I am so glad to be able to follow my indigenous family and share some words of blessing, Lewis said as she opened her speech. Standing here and looking at you and thinking about this movement makes me want to tell you what it means for me to be a Christian pastor.
Theres all kinds of Christians, but Im the kind that believes that theres more than one path to God, the kind that believes that every single body, no matter who you love and how you look, is created by God exactly as you are.

Well ... there's your problem.
Pastor Jacqui Lewis - the Alexandria Cortez of the Christian community.
Everybody was marching to their eternal deaths until they received Christ as Lord and Savior — and everlasting Friend.
That’s not just them. That’s you. That’s me. But God is not willing that it should continue.
For decades the churches put up the banner of salvation for alcoholics, for thieves, even for gang bangers. But homosexuals? They put up the banner of “Eww.” The result was an unministered sector of society.
It’s high time to correct that, and it has to begin with the “good” churches first — not the “bad” ones.
Intersectionality is the new caste system. White conservatives are the new untouchables.
False prophet will see the fires of hell.
If that is your calling, to evangelize to lynch mobs who hate you because of your race, and what you stand for - have at it. I pray for the lost and do what I can to try to steer them off the path of destruction. Almost all of them make a mockery of the real Jesus and His Salvation. At that point, you just shake the dust off of your feet and move on. Let em’ revel in their destruction. (Matthew 10:14 & Mark 6:11)
I don’t believe in a grand revival of the Church with the days of Lot already here.
The greatest deception of Satan is not to convince man that he is God... this pastor has gone all in for the deception
Is not to convince man he doesnt exist, but that he is God
What is a Jacqui?
Your post made me think of this old song:

B J Thomas - “No Love at All”
Read in the paper nearly day
People breakin’ up and just walkin’ away from love and that’s wrong
That’s so wrong
A happy little home comes up for sale
Because two fools have tried and failed to get along
And ya know that’s wrong
A man hurts a woman and a woman hurts a man
When neither one of them will love and understa-a-a-a-and
And take it with a grain of salt
Oh, now believe that
A little bit of love is better than no love
Even the bad love is better than no love
And even the sad love is better than no love at a-l-l
Got to believe that
A little bit of love is better than no love
Even the bad love is better than no love
And any kind of love is better than no love at all
Pharisees see them too...
Recent reading has impressed on me how ill prepared the small-o orthodox churches are to address the issues by which a sad soul falls into a number of sex perversion sins.
Many such people don’t have to be told that it’s wrong, from hell. They know it. They understand it. What they don’t know about is anything more than a nominal Christ, and that cannot beat a non-nominal devil.
Can we get beyond the “eww” and even beyond the “what a false prophet” to “Everybody, please see the unbelievable love of Christ”? Somehow, some way.
In my spare time, I follow You Tube videos of noted musicians. I like it when the score is put up and I can read it while hearing the corresponding music. But in the same articles I have heard about sex perversions that some of these musicians got into. Their music isn’t about sex perversions. I’m not talking about Lady Gaga. But I think how incredibly sad that they brushed elbows very closely with Christendom — and yet never saw the Remedy in Christ. I frankly believe that pastors weren’t ready to deal with it. And for what people are ignorant about, Christ is quite lenient about. “Father forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
Instead of sitting and fulminating, the small-o orthodox church needs to get off of its blessed assurances and go where Jesus got hooted at for going — into the tenderloin districts, which now are everywhere. They more likely than not already know about hell. They don’t know any other answer but to capitulate to Satan. They don’t know about any “But you were washed” promise, that will remove the robotic nature of perverted sex and replace it with full hearted love. And many a broken heart will see healing.
And that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
One of the ways Satan seeks to discourage Christians is to tell them that they’re already upon an irreversible apocalypse, when a believer-heavy generation could be only some prayer away. That’s what God did for John Knox, that stern old Scottish Calvinist who believed that God was so sovereign that He could even populate an age with the elect.
That’s not just “my” calling. That’s “every Christian’s calling.”
‘Seems a pretty stupid pastor.
When I see the words, “pastor”, and “Jacqui”, it’s over; I stop reading.
I guess these black hate mongers don’t realize if the war they seem to want starts it will pit 13% of the population against about 70% of the population. Visions of grandeur?
The idea of a mutual gospel quest has departed from a lot of churches. It’s actually pretty easy to get people to sit in pews on Sunday and listen to uplifting messages, and yet never get the idea of being mutually “yoked” in Christ.
God has brought me back to one of the few (little, struggling, and yet surviving) churches that has started to go beyond.
What happens when people who know they need a yoke can’t find a good one? They often opt for bad yokes which turn out neither to be light nor easy. And yet lust keeps them there, in that hard, difficult yoke.
That’s what’s going on in the middle of sex perversion. Should the church fear to confront this? Heaven, no. We stand on promises that are as incredible to nominal religious thinkers as to walk on water would be. But, and this is a giant caveat, this kind of effort needs to be backed up with much focused, persistent prayer. This would seem to be obvious for a mission — and yet it so often gets treated as an afterthought.
Scripture tells him he’s wrong:
Isaiah 5:20
Matthew 7:16-20
There is only one way. And the road is narrow
Jesus is the only way
We used to attend a small Lutheran church near us. I liked that it wasn’t a large corporate type church where everything seems to be about money.
The pastor was an older easy going Swedish guy. Very likeable.
Then they got rid of him and brought in a young woman. The “I’m gonna change the world “ type. The rainbow flag went up. We left, as did many others. The church, which had been there for many years, folded a few years later.
It’s as if they don’t care if they succeed as long as they destroy everything in the way.
Jacqui is no Christian. Am I judging her? No, I am discerning her spiritual state by observing her actions and words.
