It’s been a while since I’ve read the Constitution, but I don’t recall it stating that the “free exercise thereof is dependent on whether an atheist group agrees”...
Atheism is a Religion in and of itself and they should all respond as follows:
F%CK OFF We are Prohibited from following your advice because of your religious dogma.
Call it an “engineering trip,” to study ancient ship construction techniques.
The problem is this — Atheists believe it never happened, so it is in essence for them — MIS-EDUCATION.
“Take them to a Mosque instead where they can learn about Tolerance”
It looks really cool. I’d stop to see it if I were passing by.
Public schools and public school staff may not constitutionally organize trips to the Ark Encounter or the Creation Museum or any other religious venue, a letter from the nonprofits co-founders to schools reads. “We suggest they visit the local mosque instead”, he went on to pontificate.
An athiest is a person who lives in a vacuum, and will throughout eternity.
And yet, parents are having to fight to keep their child from being indoctrinated into Islam when schools force children to take field trips to the local mosque...
It is really cool. Go out of your way to see it.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
31,000 people? A mere dot. We should all pray for them.
They would have no problem with schools taking them to a mosque.
I can’t remember the last time I went anywhere other than east or south from Charlotte.
No Arks in hell when they get there.
But atheists would bring students to a mosque without question.
Atheist Nazis using the government to make its creed the mandate for America.
No different than Mao or Hitler enforcing its ideology on their nationsm
