Abraham told his men to have a seat and remain with the donkey until he and his son Isaac returned after worshipping.
Abraham was instructed by God to go and sacrifice on that mountain.. There was no animal provided in that little gaggle of sacrificers. Abraham could surmise he was to sacrifice Isaac yet he told the men to wait at the foot of the mountain and he and HIS SON would return to them. Dude! THAT IS FAITH BEFORE WORKS>
