My anticipation is that one just “floats” in heaven not truly aware of a body at all.
No sense of hot, cold, humid, or raw conditions. Just “being” and perpetually comfortable.

‘Perpetually Comfortable’ sounds like a dead end.

I think we’re still going to be presented with new opportunities to learn and grow - and that will necessarily involve some obstacles to overcome, and rejoicing in the overcoming.

At least, I hope so: I don’t want to just float around, never learning anything new, never growing further...never encountering an opportunity to overcome.

Nope. Christ had a resurrection body that was recognizable but also changed. He could eat if He wished but could also appear and disappear inside locked rooms. We will be as He is ... in a resurrected perfected body. God created the material world for us. He will make it new and perfect but will never do away with it leaving us floating in some nebulous mist
