the English non-Catholics were terrorists, they stole all the Catholic Churches including Westminster Abbey and murdered thousands of Catholics including St. Margaret Clitherow, a pregnant mother who was murdered by breaking her spine with a large stone. Barbaric.

My ancestor, Edward Wightman, was the last martyr to be burned at the stake in England (Litchfield) in 1612. On the 400th anniversary many from our family visited the area.
He was a bit wishy-washy at first because when they took him to be burned, he recanted and saved his life. Then he recanted his recant and finally was burned.
