The Pope called for more tolerance and warned about populism during a speech at the Vatican on Tuesday, Italian news agency Ansa reports.
“It is important that young people should know how populism is born. I think of Hitler last century, who had promised the development of Germany. That we know how populism starts: by sowing hate. You can’t live sowing hate,” Pope Francis warned.
According to the religious leader more should be taught to young people about the history of World Wars, “so that they do not fall into the same mistake and know how populism spreads.”
The pope made his remarks after a woman told him that she teaches refugees Italian and that she is worried about the anti-migrant sentiment.

Socialism led to Hitler, not populism. Further, Hitler did exactly what the Democrats do, deceiving the people via propaganda, and putting the state before individuality.

the elites have gone to a new level of inciting
hatred of/for the duly elected President of the United States.
If we hold the House it will get even worse.
We’re at a point where things won’t get sorted out without a
cathartic experience.
I think conflict is an underrated problem solving technique.

And he says that shortly after signing a deal with repressive, totalitarian China to basically turn over the Catholic Church there to the brutal communist government — a deal whose details are secret and the media here has barely covered. Probably most people haven’t even heard about it.
It was felt by many that as the German army returned home through the streets of Berlin that they were not defeated...but betrayed by the politicians.

I haven’t suffered so much ambiguous bs since Obama was in office. Trump speaks clearly, says what he means and means what he says. The Left is deceptive and speaks with ambiguity so they can double back and exclaim, “That’s not what I meant!” even though we know what they meant. Unfortunately, my Pope fall in the latter group.
